I promise

I'm still here.
Been thinking a lot.
Don't have internet in my new apartment since I moved.
Writing from work causes me to create less well-thought out posts such as the last one.
Made a song last week about which I feel really good.
Love teaching at pre-k and kindergarten.
Decided not to recontract for another year of JET, so I'll be here until August.
Ways of thinking are changing.
Ways of interacting are changing.
Ways of being are changing.
Saw Che in Kobe with Japanese subtitles. Did alright. Liked the movie. Liked the representation of Afro-Cubanos (though I'm no expert on Cuba so I don't know if even that was enough).
Watched part of The Devil's Backbone with Japanese subtitles. Harder.
Watched Abre Los Ojos without subtitles.
Conclusion: Mexican Spanish=good. Man, those Spanish gotta learn to chill out and slow down when they speak.
Making more and more friends and meeting more and more people with whom I can make music.
I want to go to the sand dunes again.

Yes, yes, yes! I only went once and for a short time, but I long to go back and make music on their sandy shores. They go right into the ocean! We shall go! My goal right now is to get familiar with how to drive there from my apartment.
And yes, yes, yes, I want to go! Mountain climbing and creaky vine bridge crossing sound like what I would love to do. Hey, maybe in two weeks? That'd be that ol' 7-8th weekend. We could do either one!

ol 7-8th weekend?? I need to stick around then cuz I have my community center thing... what about during spring break? the weekend after that might be good.... OR how about spring break? I'm looking to take some days off then anyway....

ANNNNND speaking of all these theses..... you wouldn't have a copy of yours just lying ummmm... AROUND you know, within REACH.... could I read yours too?

Yes, okay! All the way! Spring break sounds grand. I'll be around possibly the 23rd, but I'll be more open from the 25th on until the 3rd of March. What think you?

And on the thesis! I do have it on my computer! BUT, I never converted it to pdf format and I'm not quite sure how to do that. Would you happen to have any suggestions on that process? If not, I can send it as a Word doc. but I am thinking that would be more time and space, i.e. be inconvenient. I will reach so far into my computer where it is lying so lackadaisically and pull that thing out!
