I just realized the reason behind why bands have a lead singer. A person designated solely to sing, to flip out, to unleash something. I've thought about this before, but it's never hit me like now. Do bands do that sort of thing now? I want to do that.

How about bands that don't have a dedicated lead singer? Like bands that lead singing rotates or is done exclusively by a person also playing an instrument. I think of classic ones like The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, and The Band but also ones like Cream. Do you think they changed the whole game back then?
